Welcome to the Rankin County Democratic Party Website.  We are a group of dedicated Mississippians who work together to uphold the ideals and principles of the Democratic National Committee and the Constitution of the Democratic Party.  We are mainstream America and are working hard to create party visibility in Rankin County.

Becoming more visible in the Rankin Community, having fair and balanced elections in our county and helping our Democratic candidates get elected are some of the major focal points for our group.  Rankin Democrats meet the third Saturday, of every other month, usually at the Pearl Library.  Please visit the Calendar site page for more detailed information regarding our monthly meetings.

This past year we helped one of our members who ran for election commissioner with his campaign and as a result, he got 23% of the vote in his district.  We invite anyone who is interested helping with elections or campaigns to please join our group.  The Campaign News site page will have more detailed information about current campaigns that are taking place.

For the first time ever, we have a Federation of Democratic Women in Rankin County.  We are a new orgainization and  are establishing our goals and  adding new members.  We now have 30 members and it is an enthusiastic group of women.   We want to reach out to the community and get involved in community affairs.  We sometimes have special events or programs at our meetings which are the first Thursday of every month, at 6pm with refreshments that are served at 5:45 pm.  If this is something that interests you, please visit the RCFDW site page for more detailed information regarding our meetings for time, date and location.

We would like to extend an invitation to  interested Rankin Countians, to join us for breakfast, at 9:00 a.m., the first Saturday of every month at the Golden Coral on Lakeland.  It is a great time to visit with our members and just spend an hour or two chatting about the latest news or just getting to know new members.
